Outstanding
Science Teacher - this award honors members who display excellence
in classroom teaching. The award is presented annually to an elementary
teacher, a middle school teacher, and a high school teacher. Teachers considered
for this award are nominated by the membership. Nomination materials are
available below.

Distinguished Service Awards – this award
honors those who have made significant contributions to science education
and/or to the Science Teachers of Missouri. Members are encouraged to
contact their Area Director to submit names for consideration by the Awards
Committee. (Membership is not a requirement to be considered for this
award.)

Missouri Science Educator – STOM’s
top honor, it recognizes members who have made significant contributions
to science education not only in their schools, but have contributed their
expertise to science education on state and national levels. Nominees are
selected by the Awards Committee.
